How much does it cost?

How much time do I need to commit?

The course features 10 hours of video content across 6 modules and,18 mini-lessons, and you can work through them at your own pace, or pick and choose lessons that interest you. Remember, you will have life time access so there is no deadline although I encourage you to complete your strategy within a month of the course, to avoid losing momentum.  There is also 6 x 1.5 hour weekly group coaching session (held on a Tuesday morning at 11am- this can be flexible depending on the cohorts preference).

I advise you to look upon it as a team effort (so it's a good idea to form a working group within your charity, to share the information with prior to starting). A fundraising  strategy is always best created in conversation with the wider management team.

Course Testimonials

Ashleigh (Wales Council for Deaf People)

Ashleigh came on to the Fundraising Formula course in September as she was new to fundraising and wanted something that would give her a good general introduction to fundraising and help her develop a fundraising strategy for her organisation. Ashleigh really threw herself into the course, attending all the group coaching calls and utilising the included 1:1 coaching session to further personalise the course experience. It was so great to work with Ashleigh particularly as she is someone who is a natural fundraiser in the making- driven, inquisitive and creative.

She left the course with great foundational knowledge and a clear plan of action to take her organisation’s fundraising to the next level.

“I was sceptical at first joining the course and whether it would be right for me. However, straight away I found it to be very informative, and extremely helpful for not only for the charity and where we can go with fundraising, but also to understand fundraising more in-depth as a personal career choice and where I can go on the journey. Rosie has opened my eyes to the possibilities within fundraising. Rosie came across as very knowledgeable, kind and someone who genuinely wants to help others succeed.”  *****

Rachel (Sight Cymru)

Rachel had newly come into post at Sight Cymru having changed direction slightly moving into a general fundraising role. She wanted to learn about different fundraising methods and quickly get to grips with the fundamentals of fundraising within an environment where she needed to quickly make progress with her fundraising practice and knowledge.

"...Outstanding training course, the delivery was brilliant, Rosie is incredibly knowledgeable and dynamic in her delivery. I felt inspired and educated by her training..." *****

Faruk (Action for Dispaced People)

Faruk, Director of Action for Displaced People, attended the Fundraising Formula course to boost his confidence and skills in fundraising after a number of funding application knock backs. This led him to re-submitting a funding application which had been unsuccessful, securing a £24,000 core funding grant.

“Hello Rosie. I hope your keeping well. I just wanted to let you know the fantastic news!! We received just over £24,000 from xxxx You are a Star, thank you for your support!” *****

 Ben Owen- Jones

“I really wasn’t sure what to expect from the course that I had signed up for, I was a little concerned that I wasn’t ready as the group I was hoping to raise funding for isn’t properly established yet.

Well these concerns were quickly brushed away on day one. Rosie had a clear, well prepared, engaging and informative session that, as a group, we all got quite involved in and got a lot from. The rest of the sessions seemed to go very quickly, time flies when you are having fun!

The thing that I found most useful though was seeing exactly what the requirements will be for a small charity at this embryonic stage and having that information now will actually save us time, give us an advantage and make certain that the team, policies and strategies that we put in place are all designed with a really clear and tangible goal. So rather than my group not being ready for this, Rosie has shown how we can really make the most of the ideas, techniques and the processes we have been shown” *****

Frances (Rekindle)

Frances is a Trustee at a mental health charity for young people called Rekindle. As one of the charity’s founder, she has always done the fundraising as best as she could with some good success. However, she wanted to be able to pass on the batton as she was looking to share the fundraising load and with a new manager coming into place she wanted to be able to create a basic fundraising strategy for the incoming manager as a starting point.

Rosie is a wonderful trainer. She has great enthusiasm and interest and is very approachable. Funding seems to be magically transformed into a creative endeavour with her. She manages to combine being highly professional with great warmth. She has deep experience and understanding of the needs of small charities“ *****
